1921. The top figures of the White émigration, aided by their French, English, and Japanese allies, develop a plan to seize the sovereign Far Eastern Republic and establish “white” statehood there, while in Siberia they intend to install the so-called “new” Russia. But the conspirators’ plans are not meant to succeed, because the matter is taken up by an officer of the Cheka’s Eastern Department—Vsevolod Vladimirov. He receives the task of sabotaging, at any cost, the plans for an advance by the White forces against the young Soviet republic.
