The Japanese School of Arts Suimey is famous for its dormitory and a building called “Sakurassou.” Life in the dorm is regulated by a strict code of rules—but “Sakurassou” is a completely different matter. There are no prohibitions or rules here, and that’s why they call it a mental institution.

In “Sakurassou” live extraordinary people who stand out from the crowd. That’s why it’s always interesting and fun. Among them is the remarkable girl Misaki who creates her own anime. A screenwriter, Jin, also lives here. He is a computer virtuoso and knows every corner of the network. And Sorata Kanda managed to move in among these unusual people only because of his crazy love for cats. He earned fame as the only normal resident of “Sakurassou.” And of course, only a normal person could be trusted by the dorm’s manager, Chihiro, to meet her relative from Britain. Kanda was simply enchanted by the angelic appearance of the blond Masiro. She also moved into “Sakurassou,” but at a party she didn’t rush to make friends with the residents. She was quiet, and everyone assumed it was just road fatigue.

In the morning, the young man decided to visit the new resident. He understood that he felt genuine sympathy for her. And what awaited him was a real shock. First of all, Masiro turned out to be a great artist. But drawing was the only thing she could do on her own. In everything else, she couldn’t even dress without help!
