The Japanese art school Suimeijuku is famous for its dormitory called “Sakurazō.” Life in the dormitory is regulated by a strict set of rules, but in “Sakurazō” there are no such bans or regulations—so it’s exactly for that reason that people call it a madhouse. “Sakurazō” houses unconventional people who stand out from the crowd. Because of this, there’s always something interesting and fun going on. Among them is the outstanding girl Misaki, who creates her own anime. Scriptwriter Jin also lives here. A genius programmer, Rūnozuke, handles computers brilliantly and knows every corner of the internet. But Sorata Kanda managed to live among these rather unusual people only because of his crazy love for cats. He earned himself the reputation of being the only normal resident of “Sakurazō.” And, of course, only a normal person could trust the dorm’s caretaker, Chihiro, to meet her relative from Britain. Kanda was simply enchanted by the angelic look of the fair-haired Masirō. She also moved into “Sakurazō,” but she didn’t hurry to make friends with his residents at the party. She was quiet—everyone assumed it was just fatigue from the road. In the morning, the young man decided to visit the new tenant. He realized that he felt a genuine sympathy for her. And he was in for a real shock. First of all, Masirō turned out to be a great artist. But drawing was the only thing she could do on her own. In everything else, she couldn’t even get dressed without help! Her sister Chihiro found in Sorata the perfect nanny—after all, he took care of cats very well…
