A novice actor was incredibly lucky to land a supporting—but very important—role of Grand Duke Georgy Alexandrovich Romanov in a TV series about the youth of Nicholas II. The last evening in his hometown was supposed to be the beginning of a new life—the life of a nationwide film star. But the world had other plans: our hero woke up on the cruiser “Memory of Azov” in the middle of the Eastern voyage of Tsarevich Nikolai. He woke up in the body of the person he was supposed to play. In the literal sense—he “got into the role”!
P.S. There are no speeches authentic to the end of the 19th century here, but I try to give the story color.
