Leo Sukhov is the pen name of a Russian fantasy writer. With the LitRPG cycle “Victims of Greed,” the author entered the top three of the literary contest “New Frontier,” held by us jointly with the Magic Dome Books publishing house on the Author.Today portal. The feature of the cycle is that it is written with a fair share of humor. We present the third book of this cycle.
The main character, Filia, is one of the thousands who agreed for a large cash reward to take part in a game and plunge into a virtual world. Development there has to begin practically from scratch—getting food and building huts, just like our distant ancestors did. For success, it’s of course sensible to band together into groups, and that’s what happens. However, not all resource distribution is based on fairness—far from everyone behaves honestly.
The foremost threat is the Alliance of Clans, which catches players and turns them into slaves. The Alliance’s forces are getting closer to the settlement of Mys, where Filia lives with his team. To survive, it’s important not to fall behind in development. On the path of progress, you can’t stop—you have to move toward the goal with giant steps. Otherwise… it’s even unpleasant to think about.
