Leo Sukhov is a pseudonym of a Russian science-fiction writer. With the LitRPG cycle “Victims of Greed,” the author made it into the top three of the literary contest “New Frontier,” held by us together with the Magic Dome Books publishing house on the Author.Today portal. The feature of the cycle is that it’s written with a substantial share of humor.

We present in audio format the second book of this cycle.

The main hero, Filya, is one of thousands who agreed, for a large monetary reward, to take part in the game and plunge into a virtual world. There, growth has to begin practically from scratch—mining food and building huts, just like our distant ancestors did. For success, of course, it makes sense to team up into groups—that’s what happens. However, not always the distribution of resources is built on fairness, because far from everyone behaves honestly.

The main threat is the Alliance of Clans, which traps players and turns them into slaves. The Alliance’s forces are already approaching the settlement of Mys, where Filya and his team live. Of particular value to the Alliance, among other things, is a player who has joined the people of Mys—someone with a unique ability to grow fruit and vegetable crops.

The hero decides to unite all available forces and strike the Alliance.
