There are people who can turn everything upside down and then put it back—only in an improved form, well… at least from their point of view. And that’s exactly the kind of people who appear in the Shelter. The twins Pasha and Polina carry the tender nickname “Patented Family Curse,” and they fully live up to it. Staying with their aunt Nina, they decide to improve her life: get her married and do good to everyone around.
But Nina doesn’t live just anywhere—she lives in the Shelter, which attracts the right sort of people, so, without even noticing, they end up becoming part of it. Pasha and Polina, unexpectedly befriending their neighbor boy Mishka, with their characteristic spiritual generosity, organize life for the neighbors and protect them from hardships.
And all of this must be done while not forgetting their main family mission: to find their aunt a worthy groom—and, once they do, to devise a plan so that he will surely realize his happiness and fall in love with their Nina.
