The Northern War

The MediaBook studio presents an audiobook of the popular Russian science-fiction writer Vasily Sakharov—“Northern War,” the third in the “Night of Svarog” series. The audiobook is voiced by a popular theater artist and well-known actor Alexander Gorodyskiy, with roles in more than 30 film projects.

Calls were heard from Bernard of Clairvaux and from Pope Eugene. They announced a Crusade against the Slavs, and the main slogan was: “Baptism or death!” Thousands of warriors from all over Europe marched north. And they were led by kings—Conrad of Germany and Louis of France. It seems impossible to stop the Crusade—too many warriors want to destroy the unconquered Wends and seize their wealth.
