The Expedition

An expedition to the North Pole will be on the verge of collapse due to a mysterious disease among people and dogs. When the rescue helicopter finally arrives, the leader categorically refuses to return back to Spitsbergen. Experienced police officer Knut Fjel, suspecting something is wrong, stays at the polar camp so that, together with them, he can go to the pole. Twisted and tragic events will lead to terrible consequences. But who is to blame? As in the three previous books by Monika Kristensen, Spitsbergen policeman Fjel’s intuition and experience will not fail him. The book received many responses in the press both in Norway and in other countries.
