The Miracle of the Moon Crescent

The famous reformer and organizer of many useful initiatives, Warren Wind, disappears without a trace from his office on the fourteenth floor of the famous hotel “Crescent.” Apparently, some otherworldly forces or sorcery are involved. How else to explain the disappearance of a man from a locked room—one that was constantly attended by servants and visitors, among them the famous Father Brown, who, it seems, will again have to investigate yet another mystical and inexplicable crime.
