The Visit of the Polar Fox

Since the founding of the Russian Galactic Empire, 221 years have passed.

The reconnaissance-strike cruiser “Polar Fox” sets out on a raid to find and destroy an important enemy target. And then—after completing the mission—during the jump, a graviton torpedo rips apart next to the cruiser. As a result of distortions in the subspace channel, it emerges not in its own historical timeline and not at its own time. On the calendar: 1941.

After a brief pause, the cruiser heads for Earth so that, in this timeline as well, it can carry out the Main Directive.
