Replicants are dogs of war on chains for greedy corporations—living weapons with serial numbers instead of names. Genetically perfected soldiers created for a single purpose: to carry out any order at any cost. But what do you do when battles thunder somewhere far away, there are no commanders, and all around is a peaceful planet—the enemy planet.
Two replicants need to not only escape enemy territory themselves, but also deliver two civilians to command. The captives, however, do everything they can to sabotage the mission, and the order doesn’t allow either to abandon or kill the saboteurs.
