The plot tells of the War of the Grail, mistakenly copied from Fuyuki’s Third War of the Grail. After the end of the third War of the Grail, members of the magical organization from the United States—independent of London’s Association of Magicians—collected information about the War of the Grail in Fuyuki and plan to begin their ritual. After seventy years of planning, choosing a city north of Las Vegas, in California, Snowfield—between forests, swamps, valleys, and deserts—where the surrounding terrain would be favorable for conducting the ritual, they selected it as the Sacred Land for their own War of the Grail. However, they couldn’t successfully reproduce every aspect of the ritual, so it became not a full-fledged War, but only an imitation. Because of this, the Saber class was lost, and the very concept of “hero” was erased—making summoning unusual Servants possible. (c)
