When your children behave in a way that makes you want to hold your head all the time, when everything is bad and there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, you need extraordinary measures—and those measures have been found!
So, we have: a young woman who’s confused about herself, an impulsive, sharp-tongued young layabout, and their exhausted parents, who marry this couple solely for therapeutic purposes.
Of course, the marriage isn’t quite real—the young people sign a marriage contract under which they must live like neighbors for a year in a cottage rented for them, receiving generous maintenance in return. But that maintenance is paid only if certain conditions are met. And to fulfill them, they have to learn to hear and understand each other.
The newlyweds don’t know, though, that the cottage settlement is uninhabited. The only people living there are painters and plasterers hired by the neighbor—except they are actually employees of the security service, making sure the young couple’s life doesn’t become boring… and it definitely won’t.
