Absolutely Wrong People: Wind of Change

Over time, everything changes. The world around you, the circumstances—and sometimes even people and their views on life. And it’s not always for the worse. For example, it’s not bad when a young girl—confused by a fashionable coach—suddenly starts changing, realizing who she truly is, what really matters to her, and how to live using her own mind. It’s also not bad when her aunt Marina’s painful memories and endless obligations to other people—people who are, in essence, strangers—fade into the past, making room for something new, fresh, and light, like the wind.

It’s good when an academic who has grown rigid with stubbornness suddenly begins to change his viewpoint at least a little on his own family—softening, just slightly, a tiny bit. The time for change arrives like wind—you just have to catch it, and not miss the people with whom such necessary and important transformations come.

Let it be a puppy for someone, a photo of her great-granddaughter for someone else, and for another it’s the person who—unexpectedly—has become a friend.
