Vova Бо is a pseudonym of a Russian-language writer whose fame came from cycles of fantasy novels. One of his most successful projects was the “Rorkh” book series, created in the LitRPG setting. With it, the author became the winner of the literary contest “New Frontier,” organized by “1C-Publishing” and “Magic Dome Books” on the Author.Today portal. And here’s the result: the first book in this cycle has already been translated into English for sale on Amazon.
Rorkh is a virtual world—safe by day and deadly by night. That’s why, after dark, only the bravest, the most desperate people play. The nuance is that in this world a player-character’s death is fatal, and a new one costs a lot of money. The main hero, losing his character—or, as they call it, a “hunter”—hires someone else’s and, using them, performs an important service for a strong players’ guild. In the end he receives an invitation to join them and even the opportunity, under favorable terms, to buy a new hunter…
But the hero becomes increasingly disappointed. He stops understanding what he’s fighting for. Still, Rorkh is cruel, so the ever-more lonely hero will have to keep going. Listen to the details in the audiobook.
