The main hero, Sargon, finds himself in a strange world and can’t remember how he got here or who he is. This world is extremely hostile: every creature, be it an animal or a human, wants to destroy the hero and devour his power. Despite the world’s “game” rules, pain and suffering here are real. And most importantly, the dead are not promised some magical resurrection in the game—something else awaits them, something so frightening even to think about, that comes with the arrival of darkness in nightmares. No pleasant surprises. No help from anyone. Survival at any cost, fighting that sticky fear, and understanding the purpose of his presence here—that is Sargon’s main task. In another world, he has become prey, and now there is nothing left but to run from the creatures prowling through the dark night. There is less and less food; water runs out every day, and he has almost forgotten what it feels like to sleep.
