The Journey of Baourjed

Ancient Egypt. The reign of Pharaoh Djedefra. At the advice of the high priest of the god Thoth, a young ruler sets up a sea expedition led by the “guardian of the Pharaoh’s treasures”—Baurjeda. The expedition heads south to find the mysterious land of Punt—the Land of the Gods.

After seven years, Baurjeda returns to Egypt. But during that time, so many changes have occurred in the country that his discoveries and stories about the vast world are no longer needed by anyone.
