Anatoly Rybakov is a well-known Russian Soviet writer, author of the famous tetralogy “Children of the Arbat,” as well as a trilogy about the adventures of Mishka Polyakov, which became iconic among Soviet children and teenagers. It consists of the novels “Kortik,” “The Bronze Bird,” and “A Shot.” The books were adapted into films, and the movies based on them were shown many times and were extremely popular.
We present in audio format the first book of yet another series, based on which a film was also made. This is “The Adventures of Kros h.” A curious and honest boy, Krosh, is fascinated by investigating mysterious incidents. In summer, Krosh and his school-friends undergo production training at an automobile plant. For many boys, it’s a real dream: you can not only take part in the factory’s work, but also try, in your free time, to fix an old truck with your own hands. However, Krosh notices that parts are disappearing at the plant, and some new spare parts are being replaced with old, worn ones. That means someone among the employees is not clean-handed. The hero wants to find out who is doing it—but in any investigation it’s important not to make mistakes, so as not to cast a shadow on honest people by accident.
