The life of businessman Vyacheslav Gantsev was going as well as possible. His company thrived, becoming a monopolist in the city. He had a wonderful wife and great friends—a married couple, the Voytoviches. The trouble was, the Gantsevs had no children of their own. Instead, their dear one was Xenia Voytovych, whom he raised with his own hands and called “half-a-daughter.” However, human relationships have a habit of developing in unexpected directions. And nobody knows what consequences other actions might lead to. © Viktor Ulin 2007 — photo. © Viktor Ulin 2020 — cover design. Contains profanity.
