In this part, I’ll explain how GRU and the SVR (formerly the First Chief Directorate of the KGB USSR) interact in practice. Is there such interaction at all? Or is it only a war between intelligence services? If you already know the answers to these questions, don’t buy the book—better read documentary accounts: there’s solid evidence, no unnecessary words, lots of verbs, and almost no adjectives.

In foreign intelligence, things rarely go according to plan. Because in strategic foreign military intelligence, they work the same people as you—dear readers. Now you already know that in the GRU strategic foreign intelligence system there are almost no random people. And who serves in the SVR? Maybe there are unmatched talents? Or people with a burning heart and ideals about new world achievements? Or are they people who constantly work on themselves, toil and push forward, achieving results when they do—despite their shortcomings and sins?

And by the way, what is the practical difference between the GRU of the General Staff and the SVR?
