Sergey Davydov is a fantasy writer known mainly for his novels in the genre of urban fantasy, many of which are created in the ambience of LitRPG. “To the Backside” is one of his most popular cycles. We present the audio format of the third book of this cycle.
From the first novel we learned that a trip on a bicycle can sometimes end with being transported to a parallel world. And that world, in turn, will reveal many secrets of that world.
Artyom Shcheglov finds out that in our world there are mage clans that wage a struggle among themselves. One of the ways to increase your level is to go on trips to the Backside—where monsters live, and where our hero has also been. Artyom gains a rare ability: to see the properties of objects and, most importantly, to recognize people’s true essence—their level and strength—which poses a threat to those who don’t advertise their abilities.
Now the strongest clans are trying to get hold of Artyom, but the hero has plans for his life. For example, to assemble his own team and use the gift he has gained, all of whose facets have not yet been revealed.
In the second novel of the cycle, the hero has already filled his share of bumps and acquired invaluable experience. He is no longer a green newcomer.
In the third book, Artyom and his comrades must go to another world to prevent a war. But, unfortunately, there’s no unity among the allies: each pursues their own goal. Meanwhile, the death of clan leaders gives the hero a chance to take their place.
