Cure for Happiness

Under the influence of a scammer who promised perfect living conditions, a large part of the population of Planet decides to leave their colony on newly built spacecraft and set off in search of Earth. Only a fifth of the residents remains on the Planet, and they are far from the best representatives of society. But soon the “arkships” start returning, and everyone aboard—including the crews—falls into a state similar to a coma. People come back to consciousness only for a short time, and then they die. Uncovering the mystery of this mysterious illness is left to an ordinary orderly, since there are no doctors left on the Planet.
