Andrei Prokhorov’s adventures continue.

Completing in 1557 a brilliant—and overall improvised—campaign in the lands of the Great Porte, he sets off on the road again. Not out of a great thirst for military glory, but simply because otherwise it doesn’t work out. After defeating the Tsar’s internal opposition, he had inadvertently taken their place—with all the resulting problems. Suddenly he finds himself an extra person.

A Moor who has done his job.

Clearly, this doesn’t suit him. But to avoid sparking a fratricidal Civil War with an unpredictable effect, he decides to use Napoleon’s developments and head out on his “Egyptian campaign.” But Egypt is far away. And without a proper coat of arms, you have to go “to the resorts of Turkey,” engulfed by the full extent of the Troubles in all its terrible meaning.

Will Andrei survive? Will he manage to carry out his plan? Won’t he get bogged down in the bloody mess of “muddy water” by chasing empty illusions?
