The Initial of the Sleeping

The main hero is an ordinary teenager. Much of his time is spent in a full-immersion online game in a virtual world. For many people, “Disguardium” is, given the prevailing unemployment, the only chance to earn at least some income. But for Alex this problem doesn’t exist: his family is well off, and the virtual world isn’t that important to him. It’s just entertainment—which, besides, starts to get boring.

But life is a capricious lady and can always turn everything upside down. His parents’ divorce puts an end to any prospects for his education and career growth. Now “Disguardium” is Alex’s only chance to make it in life. Unfortunately, starting in the game world means starting from the very bottom, and climbing up is extremely hard to do alone.

Even worse, Alex becomes a “threat” to the virtual world—a “imba-player” whose presence disrupts the balance. Many top clans want to reveal and neutralize the threat, because there’s a generous reward for that. What do you do if you can’t trust anyone, and among your patrons are gods with questionable reputations?
