That ravine in the taiga—what a misfortune—really turned out to be a portal! And most likely, it will open again only in a hundred years… There’s no point ramming your head against an invisible wall; you’ll have to adapt to the new realities. By themselves, they probably aren’t any harsher than what’s familiar to a person from Russia, but the morals here are simpler. It’s just like the Wild West of the time when America was being conquered: bloodthirsty savages—aborigines—settlers ready to do anything to win a place in the sun for themselves, and bandits of every kind… And there are two aliens—one against an entire world. They’re even ready to break both written and unwritten laws. But what do you do when the moment of the decisive choice comes? To submit to misfortunes and watch their home fall apart? Or to take up arms and defend your right to a better fate?
