The criminal situation in Tikhodonsk is getting worse. Along the highway, a vacationing Gusaryov is brutally murdered with his wife and child. It turns out that he is a retired police detective and a friend of the head of the criminal investigation department, Korenyev, nicknamed “Fox.” At the same time, a thief-in-law named Sever returns to the city and starts fighting for the “throne” in the criminal world—but he falls under suspicion for the murder.
