"The Chinese Conflict" is Vladimir Myasoedov’s science-fiction novel, the sixth book in the cycle “The Witcher of the Twenty-Third Century.”
It’s hard to live in a world full of magic—especially if it isn’t your own, though in places it looks similar. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find similarities and differences between the best sights of different dimensions when the Fourth World War has been going on for more than a year already.
Still, Oleg Korobeynikov has some reasons to be glad. First, he’s no longer just barely out of witcher school—he’s capable of much. Second, right now he doesn’t need to defend his home with a blade and a pistol, because he’s in China working. And third, he doesn’t necessarily have to solve all problems personally with a sword and pistol—there are subordinates and guns!
