In the country of Yamauti, things are in turmoil: the outskirts have been attacked by giant man-eating monkeys, and in the capital a mysterious potion is spreading, making people lose their minds. A young gentleman calls his page back into service again—every person counts, and the future ruler has so few loyal supporters. Many say the appearance of the true Golden Crow is always linked with terrible disasters. But that isn’t true. The true Golden Crow appears in hard times precisely because it has the power to save its people from them.
