In deep space, a tropical planet suitable for colonization has been discovered, and waves of colonists rush there in search of new living space. But when they confront the locals’ categorical unwillingness to coexist together, the colonists are forced to begin a long and exhausting war in the jungles. Numerous peace negotiations bring no desired result, and the war continues with varying success. The leadership of the Enclave has underestimated the stubbornness of the people of Epsilon who fight for their native land, and it is forced to seek help from the Special Operations headquarters. At the height of the colonial conflict, the first units of specially trained fighters begin to arrive on the planet—known unofficially as “Green Berets.” These are top-class military specialists—unmatched masters of secret, partisan war and sabotage missions. For them, nothing is impossible, and any suicidal assignment is considered a matter of course.
