Vasily Kryptovon is a versatile science-fiction writer, author and co-author of several novel cycles. One day he returns home and sees that the apartment is on fire. Trying to save his younger sister, who hid in the bathroom from the smoke, the boy dies in our world and is transported to a parallel world. There he learns that he has extraordinary magical abilities, but the magic of Fire that he possesses is forbidden.

Nevertheless, all the members of the nearly destroyed magical clan place great hopes on the young man. As for him, what he wants most in the whole world is to bring his sister back to life—because he learns that she was sacrificed to the Fire. It’s possible, but not at all easy.

In the third book of the cycle, the hero continues searching for adventures. Now the Order of Assassins is hunting him, and he is also a participant in a deadly dangerous knightly tournament. On top of that, his friend insists on marriage. And what is he supposed to do with all of this?
