I, Sniper

The FBI investigates a series of exceptionally brutal murders. Among the victims are a movie star, a professor, a lawyer, and a writer. A connection can be traced among them: when they were young, they all actively fought against the Vietnam War. All evidence points to the former military sniper Carl Hitchcock—one of the best masters of his craft.
However, he cannot be arrested: Hitchcock commits suicide, apparently horrified by what he has done. Nevertheless, something about the case won’t let FBI agent Nick Memphis rest, and he asks for help from another great sniper—his friend, Bob Lee Swagger. Swagger doesn’t believe Hitchcock is guilty, and therefore agrees—though with great reluctance—to take on his own investigation.
