I'm Travelling Alone

In the forest near Oslo, the body of a six-year-old girl is discovered. She is dressed in a doll-like dress; behind her back is a school backpack; and around her neck is a ribbon with the inscription “I travel alone.” The brilliant Mia Krüger, who has unique investigative instincts, left the police service several years ago and moved to a deserted island in the Norwegian fjords, where she is tormented by painful memories and thoughts of suicide. But when her former boss, Holger Munch, shows her photos from the crime scene, Mia realizes: the girl in the forest is only the first victim—so returning and solving the case is her duty.
