In a lake high in the mountains, the body of a girl in a ballet costume is found. Nearby, police discover a page from the book “Brothers of the Lionheart” and a camera, in whose lens the number “4” has been scratched. It soon turns out that the ballerina was killed by an injection of antifreeze into her heart. The case is taken up by Holger Munk’s team. Even Mia Krüger puts off the vacation she desperately needs in order to help Holger uncover this terrible crime.
Soon another body is found: a young jazz musician lies on a bed in a cheap hostel, music is playing, and on the wall there’s an inscription—a quote from the cartoon “Bambi”: “Look what I can do.” In the lens of a camera standing nearby, the number “7” can be seen.
The police are baffled: there’s no connection between the victims, and attempts to identify the killer go nowhere. Meanwhile, in Oslo more and more bodies keep appearing. And none of the bewildered investigators realizes how close the killer has been hiding…
