My teacher Lis is a noble gentleman from the “nature-friendly” crowd—moustache and a reddish tail. In foggy Great Britain they call him Mr. Renard; in France—Monsieur Renier; in Russia—Mr. Lisitsyn; and in China—Master Liu Xiqing. He carries a cane with a blade inside, drinks coffee à la Breton, fears nothing, and is able to find common ground with anyone.

And there’s more: Lis is a private consultant for Scotland Yard, capable of unraveling any mystery—helping the police solve the most terrible crimes, putting a period in the career of any villain!
