Rоs Per is a creative pseudonym of a writer working in the genres of action sci-fi and LitRPG. The author is widely known on literary portals—first of all for the cycle of novels “Alpharim.” “Volper” is the first book in the series.

A veteran of combat had plenty of trials in his life, but managed to live to old age. The rest of his life he decides to spend away from reality—in the literal sense. The hero makes a contract with a mysterious company—the developer of a full-dive game into virtuality. In the course of the project “Alpharim,” about which extremely little is known, a multi-level city is created in a post-apocalyptic world. In the city, an endless war rages with monsters and mutants, and the best arguments for defending the right to live are a weapon’s firepower and a shooter’s quick reactions.

Our hero, who chose the nickname Volper, gets the hang of Alpharim rather quickly: he knows how to fight. Being a loner by nature, Volper doesn’t rush to join any clan and instead scouts locations on his own that others have ignored. Because of this, his development is fast and effective.

But the further things go, the more often a question arises before him: why was this world created and how is it arranged—one he had longed for so much. And acting alone becomes harder and harder…
