Rox Per is the writer’s creative pseudonym, an author working in the genres of action sci-fi and LitRPG. He is widely known on literary portals—primarily thanks to the “Alfarim” novel series.
A veteran of combat has experienced plenty in his lifetime, yet managed to live to old age. For the rest of his life, he decides to spend it away from reality—in the literal sense. The hero makes a contract with a mysterious company—a developer of a full-immersion virtual game. During the project “Alfarim,” for which there is very little information, a multi-level city is created in a post-apocalyptic world. In the city, an endless war rages against monsters and mutants, and the best arguments for the right to live are the firepower of weapons and the shooter’s quick reflexes.
“Scurfer” is the second book of the series. The hero, who takes the nickname Wolper, ends his wandering alone and gains a team. For young recruits, the commander’s rich combat experience is a real find. At the same time, Wolper is still tormented by the question: what exactly is the project “Alfarim,” and the hero does everything he can to figure it out. The mystery of the scurfer’s profession pulls him in too. Meanwhile, events grow increasingly threatening…
“Alfarim” is a worthy example of a fantastic series at the crossroads of two popular genres: LitRPG and post-apocalyptic fiction. We offer an audio version of the second novel in the cycle.
