A continuation of the book “Clans of the Wasteland” about Turan Jaya’s wanderings in the world after the Catastrophe. Turan is the son of a farmer whose family was destroyed by the gang of the warlord Makota. Turan himself was captured and sold into slavery, but he escaped. And amid the insanely dangerous Dune of the Don, he met Stavrides—the owner of an unusual flying thermoplane.
Stavrides, Turan—whom the drifter Tim Belarus calls—together with a woman called Max Znatok—go to the heart of the Dune of the Don, where, they say, something mind-boggling is located: a machine from another time and another world called energion. But the bandit Makota and his gang secretly follow them—and reach the energion at the same time as their group. Now nothing can prevent a deadly showdown.
