This is one of the best books about the so-called “time/space travelers” (those who get transported to the past). The theme is already rather hackneyed, but this book stands out for its originality. Not some special forces soldier ends up in the past, but a manager with plenty of work experience. The question is whether he can survive in Russia of the 12th century in the body of a village teenager—and whether his experience as a manager will help him. We’ll find out by listening to Krasnitsky’s book, which was named “the best debut of 2008.”
