Desert Flowers

An 18-year-old boy dies in the yard of his own house. His death looks like suicide, and no private detective finds any indication that anyone else was involved. Only three people don’t believe the version accepted by everyone— the parents of the deceased and the profiler Taisiya Skvortsova, who knew this family well. However, even Taisiya isn’t prepared for what monstrous crime is hidden behind the “accident.” Realizing she can’t handle such a trial alone, the girl seeks help from other students of Nikolai Forsov—though each of them is already busy with their own complicated investigation.
