The fifth book of the cycle “Comrade Brezhnev.”
Summer of 1943. Germany and France surrendered unconditionally. Almost all of Europe is occupied by units of the Red Army. But the World War is not over: Britain continues fighting against the Soviet Union, and in the Pacific, the fleets of Japan and the United States are battling with varying success.
The Soviet leadership decides to force Britain to agree to peace. General-polkovnik Leonid Brezhnev is appointed commander of the Soviet airborne assault on the British Isles.
Can Comrade Brezhnev carry out the landing cleanly, without suffering heavy losses? Will the mass use of chemical and bacteriological weapons save the British? When will the Victory Parade take place in Moscow? And what will the USSR receive as a result of the war’s end?
