Spring 1943. In just a few winter months, the German army groups “South” and “North” were smashed—and at the very tip of the main thrust was the Guards Tank Brigade commanded by Leonid Brezhnev. But the successes of the Red Army don’t give peace to our “western partners”—England and Turkey are siding with heavily battered Germany. The front is driven full divisions of Frenchmen, Belgians, Dutch, Danes, and other Europeans.
However, the troops of the Soviet Union can no longer be stopped. Sensing the taste of victory, our soldiers tear apart the hastily assembled “Western international” arrayed against them. After Sweden’s capitulation, the Stavka of the Supreme High Command tasks General Lieutenant Brezhnev with preparing an operation to capture Istanbul.
