The Secret of the Taiga Village

Some people are drawn to everything mysterious and unexplored, the way fire attracts moths, and Wojciech Dvořák—former Czech cosmonaut long living in Moscow—is one of them. One day an anomalous phenomenon fundamentally changed his life, shattered his successful career, and turned his view of the world upside down. He decides to gather a team of like-minded people on one of the internet forums devoted to the anomalous and go on dangerous searches for unexplained phenomena.

On his first expedition, five researchers travel to the Republic of Khakassia to find a settlement of hermits lost in the taiga. There are rumors that someone lives there who can cure any disease. Along the way they face many dangers, and when they finally manage to find the road, it turns out that the main secret is kept by another village—quite ordinary at first glance.
