Legends of the Ancient Lake

Sapsho is one of the most picturesque and also one of the oldest lakes in Russia. But over its many years of existence, the lake has become shrouded in mysteries and secrets, and its name has been linked to a series of mystical deaths.

In the detective-mystical novel “Legends of an Ancient Lake,” a group of amateur researchers sets out to solve the mysterious deaths that occurred on the lake five years ago, on the night of Ivan Kupala. The official investigation ruled their deaths natural, but one local resident is convinced they were victims of a creature living deep in Sapsho Lake.

The heroes will have to sort through a tangle of legends, rumors, and theories to find the truth. Will they be able to see the “killer monster” with their own eyes—and, most importantly, will their friends manage to avoid death by facing danger one-on-one?
