The end of the 17th century. Peter tries to turn Russia’s ship away from the reefs it is heading toward at full speed—winding up the ship’s wheel with way-too-long beards, in places with crunching body parts. That’s why it becomes harder and harder to keep turning them.
And at that moment, our modern-day fellow appears—cool-headed, hot-hearted, and with a clear conscience. Holding in his hands the scissors with which he plans to cut off those same beards—sometimes together with the heads.
