Long ago, the mage-alchemist Brugus made a scroll of wishes and cast a spell to enhance it. He hid the scroll in one of two caskets protected by the magic of Light and sent them to wander through the burdockoid world. Over the centuries, the scroll acquired monstrous magical power. The scroll of wishes is a neutral artifact. It can serve both Darkness and Light. The gilded-winged ones seek it, and the guards of the Darkness seek it too. If Tartar finds the casket with the scroll first, a catastrophe will happen… And the wise men of the Transparent Spheres also claim that the scroll’s story will be directly connected to Dafna, the guard of Light, and Mephody Buslaev—the future ruler of Darkness…
