Twilight. The Girl from the Tearful Slums

Origin determines a lot—I’ve been convinced of that more than once. Could a girl from the slums expect a more enviable fate than a fishmonger in a fish stall? Service isn’t easy—lost souls stir the Twilight Sea—and then a legendary pirate shows up, for some reason starting to chase me. In the city, a chain of mysterious incidents begins, clearly connected to one another… and, it seems, in some way connected to me.
