Hard times require difficult decisions. The Earth Federation managed to defeat the enemy fleet in the Hadar star system and won a prize in the form of the industrially developed planet Orshu. The only question is whether the united humanity and its allies can swallow such a tasty morsel. To solve this problem, the Federation Council takes unprecedented measures—following the path of military dictatorship—and rapidly expands military potential. But is it only for the capture of Orshu that all forces and resources need to be overstretched?

For centuries, warships of an unknown civilization from the Hadar system served as the sector’s punishing sword. Now that sword is broken, and what it will lead to remains only to be guessed.
