Years have passed since the moment when Vadim Malakhov’s son, Andrey, saved his father in the Zone (the novel “Red Signal”). Using the artifact “Pyramidka” (Collective Consciousness), scientists create an interplanetary station capable of traveling through subspace, forming a “wormhole.” After a series of successful tests of unmanned stations, an expedition is sent to an unknown place in the universe—from where the Zone itself came to Earth. “Space Station—6,” whose crew includes onboard engineer Andrey Malakhov, must answer the question of who sent something to Earth that creates Zones—and what is the nature of this phenomenon.
