After the catastrophic failure of Operation “Golden Sphere,” Vадим Malakhov, the head of the “Tabigon” group, has entered a period of hard times. The team has been disbanded, and he himself has to hide in another city under a false name. Vadim works as a private detective. But Malakhov never forgets that he must find the reasons for the collapse of the previous operation.

While investigating one of the cases, he finds documents that could help him restore his good name. But to do that, he must go back to the Zone—alone, without a group, without equipment, without support from the center.
